Small Group College Counseling Workshops
Workshops will be designed to meet the needs of both students and their parents and will address the following topics (limit of 3 families per workshop):

- How do I choose my "foundation," "likely," and "reach" schools?
- How do I go about finding colleges that are a "good fit" for me?
- Resume, College Visits, College Interview coaching
- Why do I need a resume? What should I include on my resume?
- When should I visit schools? How do I make the most of a college visit? What should I do if I cannot arrange a college visit?
- Should I interview when I visit? How do I best prepare for an interview? What will be expected of me in an interview?
- Essay work sessions/ coaching
- What are schools looking for in an essay?
- How do I come up with a topic?
- Does the essay really make a difference?
- Applications
- Should I use the Common App?
- Should I apply Early Decision or Early Action?
- College Admission testing
- When should I take college admissions tests?
- SAT, ACT or both?
- What are SAT Subject tests? Do I need to take them?
- How many tests should I take?
